Silicone rubbers for zinc alloys

in stock

ATOS BESANA s.r.l. produces different types of high quality and high temperature resistance silicone rubbers realised through a very equipped analysis laboratory for a continuous research and development of our products as the market requires and modern technologies.

We can group the different silicone rubbers in four families:

  • Silicone rubbers for zinc alloys (THT series with very high resistance to the temperature);
  • Silicone rubbers for lead/tin/bismuth alloys (MEX series);
  • Silicone rubbers for resins (with low vulcanisation temperature);
  • Silicone rubbers for lost wax (MCF series).

The standard vulcanisation temperature is normally 175/180°C but all our silicone rubbers can be realised at 120°C or 80/90°C on request.

The advantage of lower vulcanisation temperature is a lower shrinking during the vulcanisation cycle as well as the possibility to use resin, plastic, wood and wax models which normally have deformations and broking for higher vulcanisation temperature and pressure.
